You can run dual channel with 2x 512, if your motherboard supports that. Also the 512s are CAS 2.5, while the 1GB stick is CAS 3. Don't know the specific chips they use.

I love how my Corsair Value PC3200 is running a better overclock than my Crucial Ballistix PC4000. 240Mhz @ 2.8v Memtest stable, my Ballistix cant even do that

Hey, $76 shipped from Monarch is good. No tax for us Californians. Might be the lowest I've seen from them. $75.49 shipped from ZZF isn't too shabby also.

Except for the rebate and that ram is CAS3. I don't like rebates and the Corsair is CAS2.5.

It's not a bad deal. But 89.99, plus tax to CA, about 8.00 for me, plus the shipping you said was 7.00 to CA, is 105 out of pocket minus 30.00 for the rebate. The Net cost after rebate would be 75.00.
As BadThad said, this Corsair is CAS 2.5. If you're from CA like me, order the Corsair from MonarchComputer (no Tax for CA) here, Corsair PC3200 2 x 512 at Monarch
for 76.00 plus shipping. It's either:

It should be the same thing, as long as you are getting the CAS2.5 DIMMS. It looks like that from the part number at Outpost, (VS512MB400). Corsiar Value Select info. Corcair does sell this in CAS 3 also. I've seen it at Newegg here By the way there is only one rebate per household on that Outpost 10.00 rebate.
