good deal....although how does the rebate work if it's OOS? like if u purchase before the deadline Jan10, and they don't ship til much later past 14 days of purchase, then are u screwed?

and anybody know if this kit would work with the EPOX 9NPA+ Ultra? corsairs mem configurator only shows the 1gbkit as compatible but nothing on this one.

that is a good find... I think I'll be heading over to my local fry's in the morning. I think it should be good for the rebate. It says at fry's or outpost on the form. Hopefully the in-store price is the same.

would like to know this as well. Will purchase it if i can use rebate. BTW anyone know the timings on this ram?

The rebate will go from the date you purchase it, as in if you buy it today, it will use that date for the rebate. There will be another shipment coming in on Monday or Wednesday. If it doesn't look like it will arrive by the 14th (when the rebate has to be post marked), then you can cancel your order.

Last time they had this deal. I had to cancel because the 14 days will be up on Monday and it still hadn't shipped. The thing that got me was I ordered two other items I wouldn't have that did ship to me already. The only reason I did that was to save on the shipping. The $11 shipping I paid didn't seem so bad with 3 items... but with 2 items I didn't really need, it's too much. I got suckered into this with a great price after rebate for memory that was never going to get to me in time. I emailed Outpost/Fry's about this and they just stuck to the rebate terms.

My first post to the forum. Glad to share the find!
Funny thing happenned to my current RAM. Half of it just disappeared (went from 1024 to 512 as seen by my computer). I updated the motherboard drivers, would that have caused it? Very strange.... Any ideas? Am I posting in the wrong forum ( I know I am, but it is kinda related).

I ordered this on the 8th after I saw the thread on FW. It was OOS but they said they'd get more in next Mon or Wed. From what the rebate read I was under the impression that for the rebate to work, you had to purchase the ram before the 10th, and your rebate envelope had to be postmarked 14 days after your purchase date. So for me that would be the 22nd. I can't look at the rebate right now, but does it say postmarked before Jan 14th or postmarked 14 days after purchase?

Edit - read rebate restrictions, says rebate must be post marked 14 days after purchase, not by the 14th.
