Mine got cancelled, AFTER they shipped the second item I ordered!

TigerDirect still charged me $8 tax and $4 shipping on the $26.00 "filler" item I received. They hung up on me when I called in to inquire about a credit for the difference.

I'll be opening a case with American Express for fraud. TigerDirect...hasn't changed in 20 years. Still the same shady company. It's pretty obvious this price "mistake" was intentional when considering they didn't "discover" is for four days, plenty of time to ship the filler items people inevitably would put in to use the $15 off coupon.

I've never heard of a company only partially cancelling an order. Generally if something is wrong with the order, they notify you before any part of it ships, or if it ships, they honor the mistake. TigerDirect literally told me "it's not our fault we carry many items and mistakes happen." If its not their fault, it's MY fault then?

All I got was a big shipping box with a tiny box of paper clips 0.45 on Monday... and an e-mail today that RAM was a price mistake and not shipping...

Typical Tigerdirect get on Deals front page for traffic then cancel order...

I agree. I think that's absolutely what they're doing. I bet when I called in and they pulled up my order there was a note saying "customer clearly added filler item to use $15 off $100 coupon on price mistake item, screw him"

...or something along those lines. I don't know why I even gave them a chance. I haven't purchased from tigerdirect for two years since they screwed me out of a pretty heavy rebate on a hard disk, when they shipped a drive that was brownbox with no UPC to fulfill the rebate with! The pictured product was a retail boxed drive, but what was received was NOT.

Since this time wasn't a rebate purchase I figured I had nothing to lose...not getting the item but PAYING TAX ON IT is still losing.

It's sad that nowadays that $85 for 16GB DDR3 is considered a price mistake. I remember paying $60 for that.

Sorry for you all getting hosed by this deal.
