Of course your opinion may differ!

When I read the headline of Corvette wagon all I could think was "ooo gotta see this freakshow" but actually it works and looks really nice IMO. Not sure what the purpose is of adding a hatchback (could you fit two more people in there?) and pretty sure it'll never be on the street but a neat concept none the less. It's better than the 1973 Corvette wagon which looks like the world's fastest hearse...for those who really can't wait to be buried!

That's surprisingly non-trendy and good-looking for a GM concept. Although I'd prefer a little more 'wagon'...could use a little more P1800 inspiration or something. I want big rectangular windows on the sides.

But you'd have to redo the whole rear quarter panel to make that work. Given what they started with, that's a pretty damned good job. Not a knock on the C7- it just doesn't lend itself to a wagon version very well, since angle of the roof coming back was kind of already set.

That really kinda gives off a similar vibe to the FF. I love the ideas behind these, although I'm not sure if this would be a good idea for the Vette. If they do actually make any I hope they'll improve it some, I don't get them still giving the rake for the roof they did, but this is just a photoshop for now and I think they just did what they could.

Maybe something Chevy should consider with the alleged down market non Stingray Vette. Use that as the basis for a sporty 4 door coupe, new El Camino, and Nomad esque fastback wagon.

I rather liked the Nomad based on the original Corvette.

Callaway concept. not GM.

The best shooting brake was the custom Jag in "Harold and Maude".
Never forgave the author for the atrocity of killing that car, even if it was only fictional.

I like shooting brakes, because they look both right and wrong at the same time. All the coupé drama and exaggerated lines, and then that square hatchback tail.
They're never pretty, but they grow on me. I thought the Z3 coupe looked weird at first, but after a few years really started to appreciate it as the more enduring design. Especially with the M bumpers/wheels/exhaust.

Better executed than the FF in my opinion. Though that massive c-pillar has to wreak havoc with rear 3/4 visibility.

I agree, but also keep in mind the FF is fugmonkey in part because it has four seats to design around.

This only has two.

That looks like a 430 fucked a 550 which fucked an M Coupe. And then it got a Mazda3 grille.

I WANT IT SO BAD.
