DAPUNISHER, actually, those were good numbers, no BS'ing around.... Here's some new totals for all the P4C's (slightly different becuase the database has grown):

Basically, a 90 Mhz difference, or less than 3%. In view of the sample size, I would say it is not statistically significant.

In looking at the Abit vs. ASUS boards, Abit (IS7/IC7)) averaged 3.300Ghz, Asus (P4P/P4C) averaged 3.368Ghz, again, almost no difference worth mentioning.

Simply put, the numbers don't support a conclusion that there is much difference based on the packaging plant or the MB maker.

Wow, we are evidently all misinterpreting each others posts terribly :Q It would seem we all agree and that everything we are posting now is a failure to read the others statments in the proper context.

It's been a while since I crashed anything. I should update the webpage. I've moved onto balsa 3D and pattern planes. Not a lot of tolerance for even somewhat shaky landings. Aside from one mechanical failure, I haven't crashed anything in the last 200+ flights.

Yes, I activate the shutter with a servo. There are several designs for electrical switches online using PIC controllers, I found that my hands are a little shaky for the necessary soldering skill to connect them in. I worried about destroying the camera.
