Some people are too weak minded to live without religion and it burns them up that others can. They NEED religion to control them.

Others are simply too prideful to admit as they get older that they have been living a lie their entire lives.

Religion isn't just a passing hobby, it uses fear, ignorance, and control to keep butts in the pew. To most people, this is enough to do it.

Actually if they did it to all the religious books than you would have clear evidence of someone targeting religion. And BTW, this is a problem with "someone" at Costco, not Costco. If Costco wanted to attack religion a good start would be no not carry the Bible in it's stores. Even if it was an attack on religion, it was just one person, not the Costco corporation.

The manager of the store or the department manager should have just had the bibles moved to a shelf labeled "Religion" or "Religious" problem solved.

If someone did it as a joke then that person should have had the rest of the day off unpaid, which would be appropriate for a reprimand imo.
