Costco Clearance Items

Just FYI for those of you who shop and Costco and don't already know...

On the price tags, on the upper right hand side, if there is a * there, it is considered a clearance item. Over at the Costco where I work (Sunnyvale, CA) they have leather jackets on clearance for $99.99, cashmere cardigan sweaters for $69.xx? (originally $99.99) and cashmere cardigan pullovers for $59.99. They are also clearancing several of the soups.

If any of you frequent that Costco, please stop by the Sprint booth and buy a phone from me!

Hmm I have been wanting a leather jacket.. Is there anyway to get a trial membership or something? If the store was in my town I might consider it worth $40 a year but I wouldn't go there more then maybe twice a year.

you can pay to get a one-day membership, at least some of my college buddies said they did. but a membership is way nice

yes this asterik in the corner is correct, but also you can identify possible items of savings by the price as well. apparently items which have been marked down have a numeric code in the price tag ( i think it is 77 cents rather than 99 makes for a savings ) got this off a guy who basically lives at costco. i will try to verify the number, but i know that this is true i'm just not sure if it is xx.77 or some other number like 88.

i know this since immediately after Christmas costco put their all in one train tables on sale and clearance from 140 to 100. for all i know this item is even less now.

this is a great table - has all the parts and two trundles which fit under this easily assembled train. got one for the grandparents house.

Well, at Sam's Club it is the same thing. Anything ending in $xx.91, is a clearance item. It will not be carried in the store after that.

Also at CC anything $xx.96 is a OOP(out of production) so buyer beware.

The * just means pending delete. This item could be brought in later on. The .77 is a corporate mark down while anything that ends .00 is marked down at the warehouse level. Now the .77 isnt ALWAYS for every warehouse, it could be a regional thing. Just depends on how the item sells. Ive beeen there too long. We have a guy that watches the mark downs and sells them on ebay. Last year he made of 40k on our markdowns.

Yep I've seen these at my local CostCo. Beautiful brand new Levi's SilverTab's for $20 you can't beat that!

The only phone that we have in stock is the Samsung 8500. Supposed to be getting another shipment of Motorola 120c but those have been backlogged forever. Buy a phone from me and you'll get a $35 service credit to your account, free voice command for 15 months, free headset and free car charger.
