Once in a while I head over there for lunch and get a slice. 2 slices is a bit too much.

It is pretty good

But its not better than the pizza I make at home.

Whole Foods Multigrain dough + their 360 Basil sauce + cast iron skillet = sex

We don't buy pizza anymore....

Blasphemy. Its not pizza unless it has tomato sauce. Basil sauce is bleh

Truth on the Costco pizza

My Walmart has pizza by the slice, they have a delicious one with Pepperoni, sausage & Bacon. $1.96 a slice and they're huge.

When it comes to size, NOTHING beats NYC pizza slice. I've been to places that have a slice size of a LARGE PIZZA!!!

Over the years (when I was younger and used to be in the bronx quite a bit) we found # of places in East Bronx that have MONSTROUS slices. hehe

I meant to say Whole Foods Tomoato Sauce WITH basil

I was thinking Pesto sauce any way so I should have known what you meant

While Costco pizza is far from being "OMG! That's the best fucking pizza I've ever had!!", it's damned good for the price.

I <3 Costco pizza!

Make that a shirt..I'll buy it.

I'm addicted to the cheese pizza. Supreme is ok.

Mmmmmmmmmm...Costco cheese pizza.

You clearly have never had really good pizza. Costco is okay, but hardly rated a 'C' around Chicago.

Perhaps you already knew! Pizza from costco's food court is delicious and a really good bargain. $9.95 for a giant fuckin pizza. I think they only offer 3 choices though, a "Supreme" with everything on there, Pepperoni, or just plain cheese. When I order I get Pepperoni and have it made Well Done. It's fuggin great.

Speaking of warehouse club pizza, Sam's Club take n bake pizzas are also excellent. Instead of buying from their food court you just get a take and bake in the store. Also really big and the meat lovers one is really really loaded with toppings, including bacon, yummm. Much better than that overrated Papa Murphy's stuff.

costco frozen take home is $1 less ($8.99/pie).

but i sometimes get papa johns when they have a 50% off coupon. and comes w/garlic sauce

It's very different pizza.

I've never been to Chicago, but I've had travel channel's best rated chicago style pizza, and while it is worlds better, it can't be had at $2/slice while buying my toilet paper in bulk.

I don't like their pepperoni---it does something a awful to my intestinal tract I also find their crust a bit chewy, but the value is awesome.

Even better is their $10 Chicago deep dish take n bake. That thing is fantastic.

Saw that last time I was there. Guess we'll be getting that next week when we go. (though, 1 pizza is a lot for my wife and I)

I got a take and bake deep dish pizza from there and was extremely disappointed. Greasy, weird cheese / sausage flavors, just not good. I haven't tried the slices from the food court.

ProTip...take the Costco pizza home, throw some slices on a cookie sheet and stick them in the oven for a few minutes...it will "crisp up" the crust and improve the deliciousness...

Sams club pizza is cheap, but completely unremarkable. The sauce is bland. Cheese is rubbery, and it's just kinda..meh. Don't deny that 4 pounds of pizza for $10 is a decent deal, but it's not something I ever crave. It's more of an item of convenience I'd grab for a cheap and easy dinner later that night.

I'd much rather do a Papa Murphy's take & bake for simliar, if not less money. Their sauce and crust is a lot better.

Costco's frozen yogurt (the chocolate in particular) is also damn good, and it's a lot cheaper than other ice cream joints.

Yeah, the deep-dish looks small, but 2 pieces will fill you up. I'd say that one feeds 3-4
