Considering a slice is 700+ calories, 2 is definitely a bit too much

Considering you could probably run a bio diesel for a week off the oil on a slice of pepperoni, its not that far off.

That's what Big Mama is for (aka my 15" cast iron skillet)

Yikes. My 12" cast iron skillet is pretty heavy and not something I want to one hand for a lot of things. Don't even want to know how much a 15" one weighs.

I would never know, because the last thing I ever want to do after spending an hour or more fighting through the traffic on the Costco warehouse floor and getting through the checkout, is to go stand in the line that is always ~50-deep for a cheap-ass Costco dinner

Agreed, I sometimes stop by the Costco's off the highway just to get their pizza. The dough is kinda chewy which I like.

The supreme and regular cheese is the same price, so I feel like I'm getting a better "value" with the supreme (meat and veggies), but in my heart I like the regular cheese better.

Costco's frozen yogurt (the chocolate in particular) is also damn good, and it's a lot cheaper than other ice cream joints.

Also true! Back in the day my local costco had a "White chocolate macademia" (I think) flavor frozen yogurt that was glorious! But I can't find that flavor anywhere anymore

Or you could go right to the food line when you enter.

We have two Costcos near us. The one closer to the city always has a long line for the food, while the one further out almost never has a line when I go there.

Sams club pizza is cheap, but completely unremarkable. The sauce is bland. Cheese is rubbery, and it's just kinda..meh. Don't deny that 4 pounds of pizza for $10 is a decent deal, but it's not something I ever crave. It's more of an item of convenience I'd grab for a cheap and easy dinner later that night.

I'd much rather do a Papa Murphy's take & bake for simliar, if not less money. Their sauce and crust is a lot better.

Papa Murphy's, I want to like it, it seems like good quality as a freshly made product, but when I eat it, it's just not that tasty or enjoyable, it's 'ok'.

Costco pizza is pretty average and only good because it's cheap and they don't skimp on the amount of toppings. They put like full pound of Kirkland cheese on each pie.

Their chocolate covered ice cream bars are to die for as well.

our costco lets you order a sausage and pepporoni pizza. two kinds of meat without the unhealthy vegetables.

I never cared for Papa Murphy's sauce. Otherwise, pizza quality isn't bad.

Perhaps you already knew! Pizza from costco's food court is delicious and a really good bargain. $9.95 for a giant fuckin pizza. I think they only offer 3 choices though, a "Supreme" with everything on there, Pepperoni, or just plain cheese. When I order I get Pepperoni and have it made Well Done. It's fuggin great.

Speaking of warehouse club pizza, Sam's Club take n bake pizzas are also excellent. Instead of buying from their food court you just get a take and bake in the store. Also really big and the meat lovers one is really really loaded with toppings, including bacon, yummm. Much better than that overrated Papa Murphy's stuff.

Whatever you say, Staples.

Papa Murphy's crust is the weak point. They have a plain bread crust with not enough chewiness to it. Costco at least has a sourdough starter and more gluten/chew. Otherwise the amount and quality of ingredients for Murphy's is probably a hair better.

It is pretty good

But its not better than the pizza I make at home.

Whole Foods Multigrain dough + their 360 Basil sauce + cast iron skillet = sex

We don't buy pizza anymore....

[pizzasnob]you mean you don't make your dough and sauce from scratch? fucking disgusting amateur garbage right there[/pizzasnob]

I live within walking distance of a costco (basically in the same shopping center) so I eat there a lot. Pizza is pretty good but I'm not the biggest pizza guy. What I go for now is the chicken bakes, they are my favorite.
