It is pretty good
But its not better than the pizza I make at home.
Whole Foods Multigrain dough + their 360 Basil sauce + cast iron skillet = sex
We don't buy pizza anymore....
My Walmart has pizza by the slice, they have a delicious one with Pepperoni, sausage & Bacon. $1.96 a slice and they're huge.
Blasphemy. Its not pizza unless it has tomato sauce. Basil sauce is bleh
When it comes to size, NOTHING beats NYC pizza slice. I've been to places that have a slice size of a LARGE PIZZA!!!
Over the years (when I was younger and used to be in the bronx quite a bit) we found # of places in East Bronx that have MONSTROUS slices. hehe
I meant to say Whole Foods Tomoato Sauce WITH basil
For the price, no one can beat a Costco pizza.
Perhaps you already knew! Pizza from costco's food court is delicious and a really good bargain. $9.95 for a giant fuckin pizza. I think they only offer 3 choices though, a "Supreme" with everything on there, Pepperoni, or just plain cheese. When I order I get Pepperoni and have it made Well Done. It's fuggin great.
Speaking of warehouse club pizza, Sam's Club take n bake pizzas are also excellent. Instead of buying from their food court you just get a take and bake in the store. Also really big and the meat lovers one is really really loaded with toppings, including bacon, yummm. Much better than that overrated Papa Murphy's stuff.
You clearly have never had really good pizza. Costco is okay, but hardly rated a 'C' around Chicago.
I don't like their pepperoni---it does something a awful to my intestinal tract I also find their crust a bit chewy, but the value is awesome.
Even better is their $10 Chicago deep dish take n bake. That thing is fantastic.
It is really good. I also love their chocolate chip cookies from the bakery - they're like crack to me.
Saw that last time I was there. Guess we'll be getting that next week when we go. (though, 1 pizza is a lot for my wife and I)
Once in a while I head over there for lunch and get a slice. 2 slices is a bit too much.
