Haven't seen these posted yet here. Normally I don't see the greatest prices on electronics at Costco, but these are coupons in the Costco Summer Passport coupon book. These items are also available at Costco.com:

Samsung 23" Widescreen LCD HDTV Monitor (item 876023) $899.99 - $100 = $799.99, with coupon from June 20 - June 26. Link Samsung

Pioneer 43" 16:9 HDTV Plasma TV with speakers and stand (item 896289) $3799.99 - $500 = $3299.99, with coupon from June 20 - June 26. Link
Pioneer

Proview 32" Widescreen LCD HDTV Monitor (item 876032) $999.99 - $100 = $899.99, with coupon from July 5 - July 10. (No link yet.)

Toshiba 20" Widescreen LCD HDTV Monitor with built-in DVD player (item 876021) $799.99 - $100 = $699.99, with coupon August 8 - August 14. (No link yet.)

Visio 50" HD Plasma Monitor with stand and integrated speakers (item 875050) $2999.99 - $400 = $2599.99, with coupon from August 22 - August 28. (No link yet.)

Costco MAY charge sales tax on the coupon amount which reduces the value of the coupon.

The 32" Proview seems like the best deal to me. Any comments?

Well the 50" Plasma HDTV for under $3000 seems to be the second best deal to me

http://vinc.com/products/product.asp?ID=96&PID=15&SEQ=2

The Pioneer 43" model number is PDP-4345HD and is basically the same display as the current Pioneer PDP-4312 for sale at costco right now for $2999 with a different bezel and a OTA HD Tuner. I have the Pioneer 4312 and love it.

The one you skipped over is the Sceptre 37" 1920x1080 LCD HDTV for $1699.99 that seems like the hottest deal to me!!! Seems to be the Sceptre X37SV-Naga

37" 12ms 1920x1080 600 cd/m2 1000:1 170V/170H Silver/Black

Wow that sceptre does seem rather hot... I think I may have to put my car's new brake kit on the backburner for a while.

That model of the Sceptre looks just a bit different from the one Costco shows in the book. Also CostCo coupon says HDMI which the model you reference is DVI. Sometimes these early specs on new models get listed wrong and the one you reference may be the same. The specs look very good on the model you show. I looked at the similar model by Westinghouse at Bestbuy and was not that impressed. I'm hoping the Sceptre of BenQ will be better so I'm waiting.

i think the BenQ will be the one to get since i think it uses a samsung LCD.

I am very impressed with my 1920x1200 Dell 2405 which uses a Samsung LCD manufactured by Ben Q

As for that being the correct Sceptre, according to their website they only make one 37" 1920x1080 display, so unless they are manufacuring one specifically for costco, that must be it.

Not to bash Visio but I own a 46 inch Visio, bought it last year about this time and it just went out. Worked on TV's years ago so I did a little diagnostics on her and came up with a bad High voltage board and have been in contact with the company. They said that part is a know problem and have some on order from China.

If you got it at Cosco they have a liberal return policy that might include LCD TVs. Anyone tried to return a bad LCD?

The BenQ is available from Crutchfield for $2000 at some future date. It is also a 1920 x 1080 LCD panel. They will take your order now but noone seems to be able to tell when they will start shipping.

Yeah i don't think the BenQ will ever ship.

I still dont' know why so many companies make ulgy panels(like the sceptre). All you need is a thin bezel, that is black and has removable speakers.

They try and be all fancy ant it looks ugly as Sh*t

Yes I originally got a a Sceptre 30" LCD last year in July. The remote pickup was terrible and drove me nuts. Took it back in January and got a 42" Vizio HD Plasma. No problems at the customer service desk. Great Company.

Went and looked at the 32" Proview today. They had a lot a my Costco ready for the sale that starts Tuesday. It sure looks nice.

So is this a good deal for $899 or what?

Just got back from the CostCo in Clackamas, Oregon which started the day with 15 Proview 32" TV's by 7:30 PM they only had 2 left.

I was told, there are another 6 in the backroom buried underneath other merchandise.

Well I'm glad I didn't buy this. The guy was nice enough to hook it up to HDTV TV and DVD, both looked "meh ok". Of course it may not have been perfectly calibrated, the lighting, the source, blah blah blah. Yes this is a killer deal but if I'm going to spend $899 I would expect better quality. It is a killer deal though and most stores will probably be sold out by Wednesday morning.

The TV itself (not including box and packing materials) can definitely fit in the backseat of a medium to large sedan. We have a 2002 Honda Accord SE sedan and I'm sure it would fit.

I wish they had a Spectre 30" for $799 on display but nope, I think that's only available online :-( The Maxtent 26" WS for $799 was BEAUTIFUL. If that were $649 or so, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Hope that helps a few of you. YMMV and these are just my personal unprofessional opinions

Yeah Portland, Oregon. There are at least 50 AT'ers in Oregon.

"There are at least 50 AT'ers in Oregon."

At first blush, I was suspect of this ratio but after running the numbers, it is statistically quite normal.
Still hard to believe. Oregon must rank close to Wyoming in population. No need to look that up as it is easy to come by the stats.

A good 25 of those live in the Portland/Vancouver metro area. I've probably bumped into you guys while scoring a clearance deal at Staples, buying some toilet paper at CostCo or even using a Bath and Body Works coupon (it's for my wife - I swear).

I'm curious about the dimensions difference listed on the Costco page vs. the Sceptre page. I need to have an LCD that will fit in a 36" space.

The Costco site lists this monitor as 44". Sceptre says it's 34.9". I'm assuming this is due to one site considering the size with the side speakers attached, and one site (Sceptre) only taking into account the actual LCD sans the speakers.

I'm hoping I'm right...I've emailed Sceptre to find out the real deal. If anyone else knows or has measured, I'd like to know what the actual width of the LCD is without the side speakers attached.
