Wow, why so much?

Because of you or the stuff installed in it?

I'm just a new driver with full coverage. They can't charge more because of my disability.

Anyone want to hazard a guess on why there is such a large discrepancy among states?

I can understand New Jersey having high rates because it is the most densely populated of all 50 states, but I don't understand many of the other rates.

Uninsured motorist's raising the average claim rates of those that DO have insurance? I know LAUST has complained numerous times about the unisured drivers there. Also car theft. Arizona is one of, if not the, highest auto theft states in nation.

Oh, and we have NJ beaten in sales tax too!

Go NY!

Speak for yourself.

We just had an assessment in Bergen County.

I just bought my house last year and went from paying $4000 to $6000 in property tax!

If we haven't kept up with you, we've beaten you.

There are so many uninsured drivers here its crazy. My aunt had a hit and run with someone who most likely didn't have insurance (because the d!ckhead took off). It's a chicken and egg problem here though. With such crazy rates, you can't afford to have insurance.

Its so difficult to get insurance too. You have to fill out 10 page applications just to get a quote. Its unreal.

Its all the illegal immigrants. When they get in an accident they just "abandon ship" and take off running.
