Could AMD "Polaris" be what the Fury X was suppose to be?

I picked up the sapphire fury last week. I love this card running my PLP triple setup. Just hooked it up and the the switch. A few games don't work well, but games like crysis 3 look fantastic on medium settings running 70+ fps at 4960x1600. The sapphire cooler is bananas. Way better than the windforce cooler on my gigabyte cards

Yup, Sapphire Fury has the quietest cooler I have used in the modern era.

If Polaris is what FuryX was supposed to be, then it seems like AMD would still be one step behind NV with Polaris.

Even if Polaris is a step behind in raw performance like the Fury X is, timing is everything. If Fury X had launched before Titan X it would have made huge waves. Even just beating the 980 Ti to market would have established it as a killer as long as it undercut the TX price enough. It was too late.

Sorry OP for hijacking your thread...Just a question. Anyone has 2or 3 curved monitor setup? How would you compare it with flat monitor setup?
