Ding Ding Ding. The line play of the Texans would absolutely domilish the USC lines.

O/U would need to be set higher than 42... everbody would be playing the overs.

no, david carr needs some damn protection and someone who can catch the ball.

i think USC could put up a good fight. in the end though, the texans are much stronger and bigger so i would wonder if USC's defense and offensive lines could stop em in the 4th

I definately think a pro team would send half of a college team to the hospital in the first half.

So my answer is NO.

The people voting for USC simply have NO IDEA what they're talking about. Plain and simple. I mean, they're complete idiots, really.

The NFL is comprised of what, like 1000 of the WORLD's biggest, fastest and strongest people. NCAA has thousands upon thousands of KIDS.

The offensive and defensive line of Houston would walk over the opposing line of USC's every... single... play.

No contest. Houston, 72-10.

You could take the 60 best players in all of college football, put them on a team, and they'd still lose to the Texans. Now, if this team got to play for a few years in the NFL they'd start to get competitive. However, take them right now (and hypothetically they can play together as a team, have chemistry on offense/defense, etc.) and they lose. No way USC has a prayer.

I would think it would hurt more than that.

hmmm, NFL running back runs 80 yards for a TD.
NFL running back 95 yards for TD.
repeat 10 times.

Sound first half.

repeat.

Absolutely.

Not to mention the power every other player has. They would injure half the Trojan's team.

A post like that comes up every year. The answer is no way in hell. One of them many ways of justifying that - think about it this way if the draft was tomorrow and every USC player declared how many would be picked? How many would be picked in the top 3 rounds? No more than 10. So out of 50+ players only 10-15 will be drafted. Meanwhile, Houstone Texans have 53 players that have been drafted.

Yes, but it's obvious that out of those 53 some have been a mistake, and some of the Trojans that won't be drafted should be. It's an understandable argument, but not a good one.

I would disagree and call it a good argument because the "some" you're referring to is statistically insignificant.

What is the point of the draft? Have the Texans accomplished the point through their performance, almost all these players have been drafted have they not?
