Could you complete the 1 gallon challenge?

I watched someone do that during high school, trying to drink the whole gallon in the thirty minute lunch break. He got down about 3/4 of it before puking it all up, followed shortly by the teachers descending upon him. Ended up with a pair of detentions for it, IIRC.

I would strongly caution against doing any of the stupid stunts mentioned in this thread.

You can but I doubt a gallon is even close to enough.

It takes a while to digest milk fats. You might as well ask if your stomach can hold a gallon of anything.

I've been known to drink a 1/2 gallon of ice tea or water in a couple minutes, but as for a gallon of milk, No.

I'd put my next paycheck on being able to consume 1 1/2 gallons of *water* or weak kool-aid in an hour. But there's no way I could consume 1 gallon of whole cow milk in one hour. (Goat milk, maybe - lactose intolerant people can often tolerate that.) I know better than to try. Everyone is lactose intolerant to a degree. Some people can't have any dairy products. Some people can drink 2 or 3 glasses before they have any problems. But there's an upper limit to how much a body can process - and one gallon exceeds it.

And, for what it's worth - the challenge is to finish it within the hour AND keep it down. Keeping it down doesn't expire after the one hour.

Shouldn't be too difficult. When I was a high school freshman, one of our track and field coaches suggested drinking a gallon of milk (no time limit stated), then running 5 miles.

Seriously try it. I was 6'3" and about 215lbs in college, and I drank milk all the damn time. I thought it'd be really easy too.

Just try it, get a timer out and see how well you are doing at the 50min mark.

I used to be able to do it and did so on several occasions.

However I have since developed lactose intolerance and would not be able to complete the challenge. Get it down? Sure, I can and still do get more than a gallon of water down in less than an hour. Keep it down? The water stays, no way in hell the milk is staying down.

How much you can eat/drink is srs bznz when it comes to dick-waving so I'm not surprised how many people think/pretend/fantasize they can handle the challenge. Note that (almost?) no one has said they've actually completed, and those they've SEEN complete it still puked after the hour was up.

I dunno, I've seen what happens in a gallon challenge, its hardly ever pretty(out of 10 people I've seen do it, only one completed it without any ill effects). Though if I could throw up afterwards I would give it a shot for cash.

Yeah I could drink that no problem, I love milk, drink it all the time, the most I've ever had was 6 pints in about 30 minutes, it started coming out of my tear ducts D:
