I probably could but does not mean I'd want to. Especially now days with all the covid rules and crap, screw that. Social media probably makes things worse too in general, even pre covid. The whole social part of school is so much different now because of it.

I sometimes get dreams that I'm in school and wake up and it's always a relief that those days are behind me.

I didn't make it through the last time. I punched the vice principal in the mouth, knocked him sprawling on the floor when he poked me in the chest...walked into the USMC recruiter and enlisted.

If I hadn't left when I dis, I'd have gone to prison for murder within 6 months.

I finished high school early through correspondence, but only a few weeks before I started college. I had nightmares for years that they discovered I didn't actually finish and I had to go back to High school. I even had this dream after I completed my master's.

I could, only because I'm a very persistent person. If I wanted to make it through I would. I hated grade school, by high school my doodles were mainly this:

Meaning, I wanted to move on and not look back, that's how I felt about high school. I've been contacted for a bunch of HS reunions but haven't gone to any. For the most recent, a few months ago a woman called me and left a message including her name and phone number, she tells me about the latest reunion and said she remembers me and wants me to call her, whether I want to attend or not. I don't remember her name, I don't call her.

But if I were in high school I could hack it. Doesn't mean I'd like it. There's worse things in this world.

Fact is I've forgotten a lot of what I learned in HS. I was great in chemistry, top of the class, but there's a lot of that I don't remember now. I could use a refresher. We had a great chemistry teacher, AFAIK that's all he taught. I was all in. Same thing for physics except that the teacher stunk in comparison. But the book was fine. Aced that too. But it was Newtonian physics and really simple compared to what I took at the university. It was more fun, too.

For me there was no sex (other than masturbation) or drugs. AFAIK, there were no drugs at my high school at that time. Rock and roll was something I heard on the radio, there was no going to shows scenes that I knew about in high school. I tended by high school to consort with people who were destined for higher education, by and large the smartest AFAIK.

I don't remember bullies at my high school. Maybe it was the people I interacted with. In junior high school there were definitely people you hoped you never met or consorted with. They were kids who didn't want to be there, there were juvenile delinquent types. Before junior high, I went to a school where the kids were pretty behaved, as I recall. Myself, I was well behaved in school, always. Breaking shit was out of the question. There were some teachers who worked better for me than others, some were kind of frightening. I didn't get involved with them personally for the most part, in the least.
