I finally decided to enable the Console for Half-Life/Counter Strike. I have a few questions:
1) How do I enable the "~" key to drop down the console during a CS game?
2) What command should I use to see the FPS I'm getting during a CS game?
3) How do I enable 32-bit graphics?
A friend told me to use the command, "net_graph 3" to see my FPS during a game. I did this, and my FPS ranged between 45 and 70, never dropping below 45. I am running CS on a PII-450 with 256MB PC100 SDRAM, Win98, DirectX 7.0a, and an ATI Radeon 32DDR using the official 3056 drivers. I was using FSAA (x4) when I got the above FPS numbers. Is this performance decent?
