QFT. This guy had all this stuff and nobody thought for a moment (AFAIK) that he might be dangerous. What's wrong with America? Get a clue. Wipe the 2nd amendment. All these other things you list are harder to get into your hands than a gun. They all require some kind of license and some kind of certification and some kind of record that you have them.

Of these, what's legally accessible to a random person would be a truck, but even then, it's unlikely to impact 500 people, plus if mass casualty truck attacks became a regular occurrence, you can bet the government would do street barriers and event planning that would prevent such situations.

A bomb is easily made from household items. The Boston Matathon bombing, the WTC bombing, etc. were homemade explosives.

A plane could easily be procured with a knife, see 9/11. Knowing how to fly would take some work on the attacker's part, though.
