QFT. This guy had all this stuff and nobody thought for a moment (AFAIK) that he might be dangerous. What's wrong with America? Get a clue. Wipe the 2nd amendment. It will take a while, but all kinds of gun violence will slowly disappear in America after we do this. This isn't a quick fix, but it's the only fix. Do it or weep.

if they ever do it, and have to forcefully obtain the guns, i expect that hundreds if not thousands of police will be killed during the process

And the bit before the suicide rate, what's your response to that?

Assuming those numbers to be true I would say their very near all out ban helped stop mass shootings overall. That doesn't suggest mag capacity limits, suppressor bans, foldable stock bans, etc. would help. Their restrictions are very strict from what I understand, practically forbidding private gun ownership. If we banned cars, we'd have less deaths by cars too. It stands to reason that if we banned guns (or nearly banned them), we'd have less death by firearms, no? With many freedoms, people can get hurt when it is used irresponsibly or for evil purposes.

no we are doomed. Maybe at some point in the past we could of fixed it but now we will need to accept mass death. Just stay home and never go anywhere and you will be safe.

Statistically, how many events across our country this year do you think had a mass shooting? One in...? I don't know the number, but I bet the odds are small, very small. Stay home because you have a .00001 chance of being involved in a mass shooting at the event you'd like to attend, but Australia has a .000001% chance of such a thing...

Your fear sounds totally legit and well founded.

The bottom line is this, do you think burying your loved one that died from 2nd hand smoke or a drunk driver is somehow easier and matters less than burying your loved one that got shot?
I would say yes. 2nd hand smoke is something you can actually do something about. A drunk driver, fine you maybe couldn't do something about that in that moment, but there are very strict laws governing use of a vehicle after drinking isn't there? How do you stop someone with a gun from killing someone before he/she starts shooting (assuming they were carrying legally)? Whereas a drunk driver CAN be stopped before doing any harm because they are doing something illegal.

Also, if guns are designed to kill, that's their sole purpose, tonight when some 80 million plus gun owners go to bed tonight without killing anyone, are they using their guns wrongly?
?? What are are/were guns designed to do from the very first gun that was made? For someone to "relax" or just "look" at it?
You like guns, that's fine, and if you're responsible with them, you shouldn't have an objection to them being heavily regulated to prevent incidents such as this. IMO, it has nothing to do with "infringing on your rights", and more to do with some people just liking guns.

Repealed means a restriction was passed for a time. Partially repealed means some of that restriction remains. You're not making the point you think you are.

Which means things are less restricted now.

How are you this fucking stupid?

lol, you know it's true. Avoid liberals, stay safe.

Yes snowflake, we know you pansies need your safe spaces. That's why you guys like your big trucks and many guns, you guys are just giant pussies.

Fun fact; when trump was talking about grabbing women by their pussies, he was actually talking about Republican/conservative women's boyfriends/husbands (we all know female liberals/Democrats are ugly). He's got righties on lock

Good luck with that one. I sure all the people that own guns illegally with happily turn them over in the utopia you have created in your head.
Your sarcasm is miscreant. I don't care how they feel about it. After a few decades the statistics will favor everybody. It will take time, plenty of time, but look at history and you will see that there is indeed plenty of time.

Sounds great on paper. Now how do you implement this in this country and forcibly take guns away from current owners...

I've been (thankfully) living away from the US all this year in a country with virtually no guns. Want to talk about freedom? the ability of being able to walk virtually anywhere in a huge city, even stumbling home at 2AM without having to worry about getting fucking shot or mugged. or being in the middle of a huge crowd without worrying about getting gunned down or blown up. oh and lets throw the ability to go to the hospital or get medical care without having to spend the equivalent of downpayment on a vehicle. The US is F'd right now.
I agree with you 100% The US is fucked right now. I'm not used to having to think that, but I have to say it to myself several times a week these days what with everything that's been going on especially the last year.

"Now how do you implement this in this country and forcibly take guns away from current owners..."

That's the reaction you get, of course. The thing is this:

You make guns illegal to own. People either turn them over or hide them. There will be a black market in guns. Of course, a black market can be infiltrated by law enforcement and people engaging in it can be prosecuted, and certainly should be. If a gun is in hiding, well, it's effectively neutralized unless used in some fashion, so the law (and we, the people) win in that situation. If the gun is used and that becomes known to authorities, prosecutions can and should ensue. That will be the status quo after guns are made illegal to own. The net result will be a gradual diminishing of gun retention in the USA. Yes, 75 years later there will be some guns tucked away, but the goal here is not to make sure that no guns exist (this isn't smallpox), it's to reduce gun violence. It accomplishes that. The 2nd Ammendment does the opposite. It helps ensure that violence such as we've been seeing continues indefinitely. Your choice. What kind of worl/country do you want to live in?

Not true in the slightest. What does the American right wing and the terrorists they're so afraid of have in common? Both are Conservatives. Globally, it's conservative values of some form that threaten people's lives

It's a storm front, RT thing that some conservative guys are starting to run with
Liberals are violent!!!!
Just more shit designed to divide us

This incident is more proof that country music should be banned. No other form of music has caused so much violence. How many more country concerts must we go through before someone can't stand it anymore and does this again? Obviously it causes relationships to fracture leading to depression, drinking and violence and should be stopped right now.

I mean Bubba shot the jukebox over it right? Now look at what he's shot up. Hey I can twist things around to just like other people to but the truth is that the evil in men's hearts is what facilitates these kinds of actions and no amount of legislation will stop it.

Sure. If nothing else, Cons show us what sanity looks like, lulz.
For some reason when I read that I thought sanitary napkin. Couldn't you see Pat Robertson with one on the top of his head like a bonnet spewing his garbage on tv?

I know you know perfectly well that is the reverse of the truth, but that's all the right has how - just repeating hilariously blatant lies with a straight face. Truth and reality is not something the modern right have any interest in, they prefer to live in their fantasy world and just not care about where it might take them. As with their ideological soul-mates in ISIS, it's a form of nihilism. They are a death cult.

Yet I better be concealed carrying a loaded weapon "just in case" to be "safe" while ignoring my increased risk from accidental discharge and other unsavory ends.

Everyone knows the most dangerous cities in the US are Liberal Democratic strongholds. These are the same cities that overwhelmingly voted for Obama and Clinton. Liberals are far more dangerous.

Yes, please stay away from these cities. We don't need your kind stinking up the place anyway.
