It hasn't been discussed enough. I mean none of the countries in the ban has had a national commit a terror attack in America for a long time. Much longer than the 9/11 Hijackers came from Saudi Arabia and UAE and one from Egypt. This is really ticking me off - it feels like a brazen move that shows Trump is way more about himself than this country.

Edit: Now they're saying that green card holders will be cleared on a case by case basis, criteria unknown. This totally looks like a well oiled machine and not a shitshow that nobody thought out.

Europe let in over a million refugees in 2015. Didn't see numbers for 2016.

We were letting in around 100K a year into the USA. So the situations are not comparable and integration into the US would be painless.

Disclaimer, not an US citizen. I said I understood the move based on our situation in Europe. Someone else pointed out that it is very different scenrios. Point taken.
We have areas in europe where Police and Medics dont dare enter. Sharia law governs there. I've lived next to this for 20 years, I know it on my own person and family.
We know that taking refugees in from Syria they auto pilots to these areas from day-1, lost to us for integration.

I do scare. I scare not from refugees but I scare from my fellow citizens that I see and feel moving right. I see the fences, I see the trenches and I see conflict coming if we dont do *something*.
On a positive side, you know what refugees that DO integrate well? The young women. Who woulda thunk.
