Couple of firsts for me today at work

After coming across mein kampf and the anarchist's cookbook I knew this guy was off beat. Called the cops once I found the child porn. He claimed it was his son's, which I am not sure how that makes anything any better, and the cops didn't arrest him. Just took his computer for evidence.

In an unrelated event, I scanned another customer's computer to find 26,791 viruses. I have never seen so many in my life. I know spyware counts can get that high easily, just never heard of that many viruses.

It wasn't really. That scan was done on another machine with an ext. drive enclosure.

Impressive, yes. Only reason I had to say it was because the users system would probably have committed suicide well before 5k. I'm almost willing to bet that he doesn't have a single virus(virii?) on his system at all.

When I repair peoples systems I do what ever it takes to get it fixed and that's it. I respect a customer's privacy even if they are dirtbags.
