COUSTIC 6x9 90 watt RMS car speakers for $50(maybe $25!) bucks before shipping.

I was looking on http://www.partsexpress.comand noticed just like buy.com they have a deal of the day. Today it is "COUSTIC HS692 6"x9" 2-WAY SPEAKER PAIR". Here is the DOTD. Now these might actually be $25 for the pair, buy I am not sure because the title description has the word "PAIR" in it, while the add to basket thing says "EA" which I assume means each. Here are the specs from the site:

Looks like they are $25 each. That still sounds pretty good.

Car speakers are sold as pairs. They come two to a box (excepting subwoofers, of course).

Hmmm, for that price maybe I should replace the paper whizzer cone factory 6x9's in my project car.

The company's excellent, great customer service and setting up an account is easy.

As far as the speakers, Coustic is better than stock, most of the time. I've had some problems with this brand of speakers though, i.e. easily overpowered and blown, bad tweeters...

These sound good if your looking for something to play with. They're not for the performance freak, but then again it's difficult to find anything that cost $25 in a performance car(Tweaked Christmas Tree Air Fresheners).
