My guess is he mistyped "covered" since the letters are close, but its still a bit funny because it wasn't corrected immediately. The internet held its breath waiting for the deletion that never came, so it was open season on twitter after about 10 minutes.

In the context of his many years of posting on Twitter the idea that this is actually a strategy would not seem to hold water. Really we just have an increasingly angry old man annoyed that he has to be president while unable to comprehend why everybody doesn't love him thus venting for the world to see.

The more time goes by the more I think Howard Stern's advice to him was right on the money.
