That's not how any of this stuff works. My timetable of recovery is still faster than some of the vaxxed posters in this thread. The scratchy throat is reduced and the ache in the mouth can be felt in full.
I know COVID is dead when the aches are fully felt becaude whike active, the virus has a partial painkiller effect.
lol.....Because it came from someone who "got impatient and decided to throw poop at the wall."
I had a lot of dreams. Not nightmares, but vivid fever dreams are a common thing I think.OT but the flu is rampant. Run those humidifiers.
Roles of Humidity and Temperature in Shaping Influenza Seasonality
Experimental studies in guinea pigs demonstrated that influenza virus transmission is strongly modulated by temperature and humidity. A number of epidemiological studies have followed up on these findings and revealed robust associations between influenza ...www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

Another Q...wife and sis in law both had covid a couple of times. They both had horrible nightmares while sick. Anyone here?

The whole point of the vaccine is to reduce your risk of hospitalization of death, and for that it does quite well.
Lessening the severity of symptoms is an inference derived from reducing risk of hospitalization or death; people die because the symptoms were too severe. Maybe I could have shaved off a few more hours of symptoms, saved myself a day of lost time, and avoided taking an ibuprofen pill. That's not how any of this stuff works.

it's been 3 years. I guess the next time is sometime in 2027.Because it came from someone who "got impatient and decided to throw poop at the wall."
Did you ever consider the fact that getting vaccinated reduces the chance of spreading of covid to others like family members or coworkers? It's not just for yourself. My timetable of recovery is still faster than some of the vaxxed posters in this thread. The scratchy throat is reduced and the ache in the mouth can be felt in full.
Also, individual anecdotes != data. We have real clinical data from large trials to know the real effects of the vaccine, and real-world data across large populations to serve as a secondary verification. The only reason to play up anecdotes like those is to justify to one's self the reason to not get vaccinated.Did you ever consider the fact that getting vaccinated reduces the chance of spreading of covid to others like family members or coworkers? Sounds like your recovery isn't fast at all, like you claimed. Been a week now at least.I still tested positive with the rapid tests I got today.
I got periodic bouts of coughing, feel a bit tired, but things have been getting lighter daily. Ibuprofen I take as necessary.
Worst time is waking up, because that's when the roof of the mouth hurts the most.
It's really weird, my mom also got sick with something, but she tested negative for COVID and is still symptomatic with whatever she has.
The most annoying symptom of tonsil ache while yawning is gone. The sore throat rapidly disappeared yesterday.Sounds like your recovery isn't fast at all, like you claimed. Been a week now at least.
My wife and I were both vaxed, but caught it in March '23. She recovered in 4 days, and was negative again.
I was prescribed Paxlovid, and was negative after 3 days. Only had mild symptoms for 2 days.
So much for your quicker than average recovery.
