Shouldn't be in the medical profession then. Must not have paid any attention when viruses and communicable diseases were taught.
That doctor needs his medical license terminated. So my partner's cousin got COVID-19 and has been in the hospital since Wednesday. Spread it to his wife and young teen child. Calls from the hospital scared out of his mind, unable to breathe, thinking it was the end. Supposedly, he got up today feeling better. I'm not sure what to believe since these folks twist and lie all the time. Not sure about his wife or kid's symptoms, but anyway, we spoke with his mom, my partner's aunt, to ask her if she will now get vaccinated since she's 75. Her answer was no, her doc told her the vaccine is dangerous and that she will continue to take her chances with COVID-19 since it's just like a flu.
Sigh.

My 75 year old mom was put in the hospital today, COVID pneumonia (she tested positive last Friday Aug 6, as well). Her Oxygen level when I talked to the nurse last was at 84 (below 80 can cause organ failure) pretty sure the flu doesn't normally cause your oxygen levels to drop so substantially. Her doctor also told her she shouldn't get the vaccine, but only due to the various medical issues my mom has, the main one being allergic to a lot of medications. He changed his tune this week after my mom talked to him mid week. So recap, many in my family have contracted COVID, about half are vaccinated, including myself. Lost 1 brother at the end of June to COVID, my only brother left is currently in the ICU in critical condition on a ventilator, incubated, under a sedative. (he was stable last night however, which is a plus).. and today my mom was admitted. So my partner's cousin got COVID-19 and has been in the hospital since Wednesday. Or the woman is just lying to exit the conversation.

Sadly, it’s not just the anti-vaxx nurses quitting. Spoke with a family member who runs two EDs at local hospitals. He says this is the worst wave yet in terms of hospitalizations here in the Triangle. Technically, nearly all the hospitals here have run out of ICU beds—they may physically have the beds/capacity but don’t have enough staff necessary for patients to be assigned that bed. So they’re clogging up the waiting rooms.
Could be as well. But if that was the medical advice she was given I stand by my earlier statement.Or the woman is just lying to exit the conversation.

So they won't take the vaccine because its a only Emergency certified, but so are these treatments. The point is, I don't want anyone to go thru what my family and myself have been going thru these past couple months. I don't wish that on anybody, not even my worst enemy. Mask up, get the vaccine! OR take a long look at your kids, your wife, brother, sister, mom, dad, and be prepared for them to be gone and/or pray they make it thru it because this virus doesn't care about who you are, where you come from, how rich/poor you are, your political affiliation, etc.. it's coming for those that keep making the wrong choices.
edit: some spelling, and realized this last Friday was the 13th, so I added the date as it was the 6th myself and my mom where tested COVID positive.
Perhaps the "herd immunity" every idiot keeps saying is the solution to the pandemic actually might be onto something. Herd immunity seems to be working its way through the stupid. From the global covidiot files—a Welshman’s entire anti-vaxx family back home in Portugal dies in 1 week. Damn.
Man's Entire Family Dies of COVID After Refusing to Get Vaccinated
"They got caught up in a lot of the anti-vaccination propaganda," said the 42-year-old, whose mother, father and brother all died of COVID-19.www.newsweek.com
A Cardiff, Wales resident, whose mother, father, and brother died of COVID-19 within one week of each other, is now urging the public to get vaccinated against the virus. The instance, tragically, is far from isolated, as COVID-19 patients and their families are increasingly expressing their regret over not getting vaccinated—meanwhile, experts warn that "vaccine hesitancy" is a pressing issue to be grappled with in the fight against the virus.

Thank you, but I live in the US. I appreciate the offer, but don't worry, I have tons of support here from many sources.Holy hell my friend... this is just one thing after another. You shouldn't have to bear this.
Is there anything I can do? Where are you at? I know it's in Europe but I don't know where. PM me if I can help with anything, Hotel room, food, whatever you need right now. Or if you just need to talk, I can't get away but you can call me.

My co-worker's sister is riding the crazy train. An anti-masker, anti-vaxxer, COVID denier, she just spend four days on pure oxygen and got intubated this morning. If she manages to survive, brain damage is almost certain as her oxygen saturation dropped into the fifties at one point. Her husband also has COVID but isn't hospitalized, yet. My co-worker gets to deal with the emotional rollercoaster, anger, and fear.
