People they actually know are getting sick and/or dying. A nurse at a local rural hospital they trust is telling them "this is bad". That's what is happening here in Oregon. The southern part of the state is getting fucked sideways with low vaccination rates and shit mitigation restrictions. They are in terrible shape hospital wise. News programs are on blast with some pretty dire and hard hitting messaging from hospitals and ICU's giving the real scoop. It's finally starting to connect and people are beginning to take this seriously....

These are the ones that will be screaming at doctors they don't want to be intubated, cause it's all a fucking hoax.You have a selection bias of those who actually paid/took time out of their lives to attend that. There's a pretty solid floor of 20-30% of the population that is juts a lost cause. That's them. There's still another 20% or so of GOP voters you can talk some reason into. Or they see enough people fuck around and die that they realize maybe it's not the best path to take as well.

Local news just covered that all the farm supply places, such as Southern States, and Tractor Supply are completely out of horse and cattle dewormer, even though it's all a fucking hoax. Don't want no "unknown" vaccine in me, but ready to take a dewormer dose designed for a 1,000 animal.
