Welp, as of yesterday morning our company of ~200 employees was completely shut down due to five or six guys from the same shop testing positive. Word is one of the guys has a stripper girlfriend and he caught it from her and he being the guy that likes to share stuff with his buds, he shared the Covid with them too.
Along with that a classmate of mine who became a pastor refused to get vaccinated is now in ICU being vented, his heart stopped twice since being admitted and it appears quite a few of his flock from church have come down with the same D variant that's been ripping through the state with 95%+ of them being unvaccinated.
So here I am being stuck with mixed emotions having a lifelong friend at death's door due to his refusal to get the shot.
