More covidiots in FL.

wtf. what's crazy is there are residents who will re-elect that commissioner because of the request, rather than voting them out of office.

I know that it is against the TOS to wish death upon people in here but I am pretty sure my indifference towards these people dying isn't.
If these idiots want to shit out their own colon, I say let them do it. Just make them sign a waiver so they can't sue anyone for their own stupidity.

Willing to bet livestock medications already come with pretty strong disclaimers in the "not for human use" area..

I agree fuck 'em, they will find out why you don't take a dose of dewormer meant for an animal, they are shitting out the lining of their intestines and thinking that it's worms. They will find out when intestinal bacteria starts getting into their body cavity just how much fun they are going to have.

And a warning that the dosage contained within is meant for a 1200 pound animal.

I hate this planet's dominant species and I want off, maybe an alien spacecraft will come and take me with them so I can travel the stars with them. But then again they may just look at me like I am a dumb ape like the rest of the species.

Not sure why anyone would go the treatment route over a vaccination route with this. It's like all these idiots rely on the My Pillow guy for all of their technical and medical advice.

It seems to me that every person and organization that supports the Covid19 anti-vax anti-mask sector of the nation should be placed on a watch list as potential enemies of the state (The People). Oh shit, that means every registered Republican and politician will have to be listed, now wouldn't they?

So one report I read says 74% of adults have had at least 1 dose, while 68% have had 2.

Looks like cases have dropped dramatically these past few days based on comparing Saturday and Sunday with the same days last week.

Maybe we're starting to turn the corner here.

Probably something like 40% of registered Republicans have gotten vaccinated. Not ALL of them are death cultists, just the majority. Probably a majority of asshats on Faux News that spout BS are vaccinated, but they'll happily kill their own viewers if it boosts TV ratings.

I glanced at NYT data and I'm not seeing a dramatic week-over-week drop. The deep South has pulled back a bit, but delta is picking up steam in the other regions (Midwest, NE and West). South Carolina is currently the new Mississippi, and Tennessee isn't far behind.

The rolling 7-day average of new infections has been 150k+ for the past two weeks. If we see a dip tomorrow, it's more likely to be related to a holiday reporting lag than to actual bending of the curve.

Can't really trust the numbers when you have states changing how they are reporting those numbers, like Florida, making things appear better then they really are. Also, it's a holiday weekend, where people also took Friday off giving them a 4 day weekend, so we may see a huge uptick this next week as they catch up, as well as another uptick from all the idiots from celebrating Labor Day Weekend and their football parties.

Sadly, kind of amusing but still sadly two of my Trumpie relatives have tested positive for covid this past week. My nephew a HUGE Trumpie anti vaxxer anti masker has caught the covid. And his wife has also came down with covid, so they are both covid infected. She is pretty sick and bedridden, my nephew has a fever and trouble breathing (trouble catching a deep breath) however no hospitalization thus far.

What is funny was that her father, an old guy living with cancer, her father was on their case blasting them for not getting vaccinated and now having caught the covid. He actually told then that they deserve it. I think the real problem with grandpa is the kid. My nephew and his wife have a nine year old kid and that little girl means a lot to the grandpa, so no doubt a lot of his anger revolves around them not getting vaccinate and putting the child at risk. But old grandpa can be pretty harsh with his strange sense of humor. Like when his daughter was first dating my nephew, the grandpa suggested that my nephew have his daughters name tattooed to his willy, then they could watch their love grow (something like that). But the old man is really pissed and rubbing it in on how their ignorance against the vaccine, their calling it dangerous and a government mind control, then now they both have the covid.

I wouldn't count on it. The number of unvaccinated people in some places is huge & the potential for hospitals to be overwhelmed quite real.

Can't really trust the numbers when you have states changing how they are reporting those numbers,

In my RED state, the republicans in control went beyond the fudging of numbers to simply refusing to report them. What the people don't know won't hurt them. It might just kill them with a false sense of security. And the governor... like a parrot repeating the line, I TRUST THE CITIZENS TO KNOW WHAT IS BEST FOR THEM. And as every medical authority, doctor, hospital, and disease control in the state plead with the governor to release more data then they hear that same old parroted line, I TRUST THE CITIZENS TO KNOW WHAT IS BEST FOR THEM. I TRUST THE CITIZENS TO KNOW WHAT IS BEST FOR THEM. I TRUST THE CITIZENS TO KNOW WHAT IS BEST FOR THEM. Squawk squawk, pretty Polly.

Seriously, at any other time in history and in any other country there would be some big time accountability from elected officials. Accountability for any elected government official let alone for a state governor and their disastrous deceitful pig-headed down right lying about something so important to health and to life itself. HOW are these trumpies getting away with this? Where is the accountability???

Sadly it seems to me accountability can only be served at the polls, while in the meantime these Trumpie anti-vax covid spreaders will be doing their thing, infecting more and more of their fellow citizens proudly and stupidly arrogant even as they are being hospitalized in droves.

This is too much. People would rather treat/poison/kill themselves with an unknown chemical rather than take a vaccine specifically designed to prevent the disease.

Oklahoma's ERs are so backed up with people overdosing on ivermectin, gunshot victims are having to wait to be treated, a doctor says

Comeon...the story is too sensational for a reasonable person to think it's true.

This story was in fact made up:

My real feelings towards these "people" would have me being in time-out or outright banned from here, so I can't go spouting how I really feel.
