Do NOT expect the Canadian boarder to be open anytime soon to anyone including Americans - Unless proof of Full vaccination !

We have lost too many due to this virus, fought and waited too long for the vaccine to open our doors now - We can hold out longer when every person in Canada is vaccinated and only allow vaccinated persons into Canada.

How else are we to combat mutations of this disease.

By the way I loved George Carlin, that old coot, may he R.I.P. - I'm and old coot myself today ;o)

Them unused American Covid Shots should be dispatched around the World not sitting in limbo waiting for stupid people not wanting them.

Them stupid people are the ones that will keep this threat alive ;o(

It would be ironical that most Trump supporters died from a mutant of Covid considering Trump was one of the 1st to be vaccinated !

He did at least tell his supporters to get vaccinated.

Though he didn't exactly make a campaign out of it, or put nearly as much effort into it as he did denouncing the election and so stirring up sedition. Would possibly save some lives had he done so.

As a Canadian, I find it abhorring that some 45% of Americans refuse Covid Shots considering our country had to wait to get the vaccine and there are billions waiting and dying around the world ;o(

All they are doing is creating super spread events and mutant variants that our present vaccines may not protect us from.

The vaccine does not necessarily prevent you from getting the virus but it gives you better then a 90% of living if you do and greatly reduces event spreading and further mutations.

Just how stupid are these Covidediots ?

It's the ultimate 1st world problem. Unbelievable

apparently a campaign for Ron DeSantis is selling "don't fauci my florida" merch. how do conservatives manage to make themselves look dumber with each passing day?

sure they will own the libs and outrage people...all the way to their graves i suppose.
That's a really great look, with Fl having 20% of all new COVID-19 cases.

We know what happen next:
1) 3-4 weeks after the surge in positives, hospital cases rise
2) A few more weeks after the hospital surge the deaths start to happen.

Wait 5-6 weeks and see how many deaths there are.

Anti-Lockdown Protest in London today - the day the lockdown ended (wrongly, in my opinion, given the rapidly surging case numbers).

Pretty clearly a big overlap with the Brexit mob - continuing to be furiously angry and outraged even after getting what they want seems to be a general trait of theirs.

And, once again, Trump feels compelled to stir the covid pot, and reinstate himself as the world's biggest covidiot.

'He' is Biden.
"He's way behind schedule, and people are refusing to take the Vaccine because they don't trust his Administration, they don't trust the Election results, and they certainly don't trust the Fake News, which is refusing to tell the Truth."

What an obnoxious color for a tie.

Curious to see how the UK will fare in the coming weeks. Today is/was their "Freedom Day" which sounds like a maligned humorist chin wag to something unabashedly Team America, but no, it's a real "holiday." It's when all COVID precautionary 'laws' lapse. I want to say our spikes in the US became so because of 4th of July. I'd expect another increase in September.

It's Johnson's "freedom from the burden of taking responsibility for anything" day. He's officially bored with the pandemic now, it's now everyone's "personal responsibility" to deal with it, not the government's problem any more. Will be very interesting to see how the case counts, and the hospitalisation counts, and the death count, increase in the coming weeks.

Yep, seems like the Tories have gone for a second run at herd immunity. On the bright side, I was talking to some people I know there. Seems like Scotland schools have broken up for summer (summer break for my fellow Americans) and most English schools are close to doing the same. Six weeks of hell, I suppose.

The problem with covid is few actually know someone personally that have died of covid. The people they do know that have tested positive had no symptoms or gotten mildly sick then recovered just fine. The fear factor is just not there for most people, especially Trump people and given that Trump initially called the virus a hoax. Trump people really latched onto the idea that the virus was a hoax and they still believe it.

Hmmmm…. I guess we’re going to need a deadlier virus. Something that effects all ages from birth thru 99, and something that like the early days of AIDs was nearly 100% fatal. Add in there something mostly spreading airborne. Maybe…. Just maybe that more deadly virus would get people to mask up, to social distance, and even get vaccinated. China…. are you listening?

Pfft. They'll find some other excuse and still call it a hoax or overblown.

Very sad that's how the media represents the GOP today (perhaps over 50% of the Republican Party) and I'm Canadian - Considering the average citizen could NOT hold this conversation without the Internet.

WTF is AI (Thinking Sand) and Gov't UAP "ACKNOWLEDGED , Unknown, Flying Crafts that break all known laws of Physics" collecting - Not even the CIA, FBI, NSA, CISIS, KGB or Interpol knows ;o)

Meanwhile; famine, drought, viruses, hurricanes, tornado's, floods, Drugs, Crime, WAR and Climate Change... etc are doing best to kill us off.

Are we doing something Wrong !!!!!!!!!!!!

They'll flood the zone with whatever shit they can generate. "It's their choice" just encourages contrarian stupidity. The whole thing flies in the face of observable reality. With over 160M Americans already vaccinated, it's obviously safe & effective no matter how much irrational fear has been slipped into their silly minds.

Micheal Irvin sounds off on unvaccinated NFL players as not wanting to win enough.

Called out his Cowboys specifically for allowing their team to be at a disadvantage.

He's not wrong of course. Keeping yourself heathy, helping keep the team healthy, and doing what you need to allow greater in person activities is what a competitor would do.

Then off course we have Cole Breezily and his "reasons".

If he was concerned about players on the field with Covid, then even more reason to vaccinated right? But no...

Well the Fallon one is kind of true. Less cashier's now are sanitizing hands between customers anymore. But not like they are coughing and sneezing in their hands either
