For anyone that says nothing comes close Id like you to give "Full Metal Alchemist" a watch. Personally my favorite anime made @ 51 episodes.

Drop all pretenses, this is a story you wont find originating in our language.

Full Metal Alchemist was just mediocre at best run of the mill anime stuff. Sorry

its a good series. I thought the first adult swim run was funny just for the fact they couldnt air a certin episode just for the fact 9-11 happened shortly before that episode aired.

Bebop is pretty good, but nothing beats Baccano!

CB is a great series, mainly loved the eps related to Spikes character.

Nothing beats Ghost In The Shell SAC though. The Laughing Man and Individual 11 series were phenomenal.

Champloo was great too, but CB had a better soundtrack.

Both had excellent soundtracks, i will concede that perhaps CB had the better soundtrack.

Samurai Champloo was good, but not as good as Bebop.

Really only other one I liked was Yakitate Japan...but that was just funny weird

Loved the GITS series
Samurai Champloo third
Full Metal Alchemist was decent but didn't like ending

Yeah I don't think anyone has high hopes for that one. Don't know why they would make it a live-action movie.

In related news...is Cowboy Bebop on Blu-ray or will it ever be? I don't know how that stuff works.

The CB movie has a Blu-Ray release, but you need to speak Japanese to understand it. That or bootleg it with subs.

ive got all...100 so episodes...never watch them. i liked it in high school, now im into Ljack and afro samurai. thats about all the anime i watch. Unless you count metalocalypse and aquateen hunger force

Hellsing >>>>>>>> Cowboy Bebop.

Hellsing started out really good but tapered off in the end such that the series as a whole Cowboy Bepop is better.

Hellsing Ultimate though is amazing probably one of the best animes ever but it is still going on
