Dallas' secondary isn't that good either.

I certainly HOPE Seattle can pull it off, but being a SeaHawks fan since they started the franchise, I'm used to having "my hopes and dreams" smashed on the rocks during the play-offs...they ALWAYS seem to choke when they really need to step up...

Well lucky for them they are playing a crappy team like the Cowboys.

Sure... But someone still has to throw the ball to them. Have you seen what Romo has been doing the last 4-5 weeks.

I think the Seahawks take this one.

Like that's EVER mattered...some years, the Ellensburg H.S. Bulldogs can hand them their butts...

Romo has yet to prove that he can win/perform in a big game. Against the Eagles he went 14/29 for 142 yards with 2 picks..

Dallas loses; Parcells calls it quits and will not return.

"Cowboys will lose. Romo will make a few error'd throws, giving Seattle a couple of gifts by way of interception. Seattle will stuff the run forcing Romo to win it for them. Everyone claiming Romo is having a miracle season must have not watched the last quarter of the season; he was mediocre at best.
Parcells constantly runs it on 1st & goal; 2nd & goal, and then will run it on 3rd & goal.. and try the same fvcking play on 4th & goal. Good teams will stuff that $hit every fvcking time. Who is the Cowboy's offensive coordinator? Whoever it is, needs to wake up and realize this isn't the 80's. If they continue that same BS, Seattle is going to make the 'Boys look silly (just as Detroit & Philly did)."

It's going to be tough for the Seahawks with how banged up their secondary is, but I still think they'll pull this one out. Dallas' secondary and defense overall isn't exactly playing so well either.

Hasselbeck and the rest of the team has a lot more playoff experience and Qwest Field is one of, if not the hardest place to play in the NFL.

I'm thinking 28-21 Seahawks.

Dallas will have success on offense, there really is no doubt about that. The Seahawks have nobodies covering Owens and Glenn. Try as hard as you want to blame Romo for the last few weeks, the problem was pass protection. Considering what they're throwing against, Dallas can run plenty of max protect sets, giving Romo time. TO/TG WILL get open against that secondary.

The real question here is Dallas' defense. Which one shows up? Those of you that have short memories will forget that the defense was superb the first half of the season. Yes, Greg Ellis went down in week 11 and that certainly has hurt their pass rush, they are very deep at linebacker so that can't be the sole reason for their late season breakdown.

It will be a good game, and really could go either way. Neither team has had much, if any momentum at the end of the season, so the logic would be give it to the home team - but in general, Dallas has played much better on the road than at home this year.

Few more hours.......

They might as well send the Buckeyes to the SB in place of any NFC team. NO is the only decent one there and thats because they have an AFC QB

When you have a running back with 16 touchdowns, pretty much all within the 5 yard line, clearly the formula of running at the goal line is succesful. The one time that they called 4 straight runs - against the Eagles - yea, maybe they should have changed it up, but Barber is a beast at the goal line.

Gawd, I hope the Cowboys lose, just for the entertainment value of seeing TO self-destruct again. That manchild almost makes Mike Tyson look mature.

Admit it. Loyal Cowboys fan or no, wouldn't you pay good money to see Bill Parcells hold forth for a good 10 minutes on his REAL, uncensored feelings about Owens?

And, hey, anyone seen Deeko lately? I looked all over the 'Boys bandwagon, couldn't find him anywhere!

Edit: Why, speak of the devil! It's Nostradamus himself!

That's funny I posted twice in this thread already, I'm glad your reading ability has degraded that far already.

ps - I love how much people hate T.O., but then have no problems with the many guys in the NFL that get arrested twice a week.

Yeah, just went back and saw your first post, which, I must say, is a well considered analysis.

Not being a Bengals or Vikings fanboy, I most certainly DO have a problem with low-life thugs in the league. But, face it, Owens is a far different kettle of fish. He's a world class head case, not your ordinary serial DUI guy, but a genuine nut, a ten year old child trapped in the body of an adult now being enabled on the national stage by the likes of that world class egotist and all around asswipe, Jerry Jones.

Throw the Tuna in the middle of all this and, c'mon, you've got Must See TV!!

Put 'em all on the self-described, self-promoted, bought into by front-running fanboys everywhere "America's Team" :disgust:, add the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders for the all important jiggle factor, et voila!

Just like that grisly five car smash-up backing traffic up in front of you for miles on I-95, you may hate yourself the next day, you WILL judge yourself as lacking in character, but when it's your turn to pass, you've JUST GOTTA' GAWK!

Terell's like that, and no team deserves him more than Jerry Jones and the 'Boys.

First off, having worked 25 miles up 95 for awhile...god do I hate that road.

Yes, I won't deny that TO is completely nuts, that he's a complete asshole, completely selfish, all of that. However, its a matter of taking him in stride. I think Dallas has succesfully done what his previous teams hadn't - they ignore him. As players, they don't heed what he says in his press conferences, and thus we don't get the "divided locker room" issue.

Also, on the same note, Parcells might hate him, but as long as he's producing on the field, he will tolerate him, and really with Parcells' hatred of the media in general, as well as his experience, he's well equipped to handle him. At least, as well equipped as you can be.

Everyone keeps saying TO is going to be gone next year. You've gotta be kidding me on that one. Don't forget who the owner, president, and general manager is. Jerry Jones LOVES T.O. and LOVES the attention he brings to the franchise. If you were watching the Detroit game, who was it that came over to congratulate TO on the bench after his touchdown? Yep, Jerry Jones. TO isn't going anywhere.

Jordan Babineaux plays corner better than Herndon, IMO. Dallas fans should remember him from last year

Also, Seattle has more playoff experience. Afterall, they did go to the superbowl and were arguably and most likely the best team in the NFL.

"Playoff experience" has been something everyone harps on this season. How much of that did Seattle have last year? Or the Patriots in 2001? It only matters so much. Both teams have COACHES with plenty of playoff experience, going to 3 superbowls each, which is probably more important.

I'm not sure how much the Patriots had, but the Hawks had been to the playoffs the prior two seasons before their Super Bowl run.

Playoff experience can be overrated, but I do think it's important for the QB to at least be a veteran. Of course there are exceptions like Brady on the 2001 Pats. I guess we'll see if Romo has more in common with Brady other then being the QB that replaced Drew Bledsoe.

True...

I'd say it's going to come down to the QB position today. The secondaries are weak on both teams. Seattle is going to have to get some pressure to force bad throws.

Hasselbeck > Romo. They're both prone to making mistakes, but Hasselbeck is the veteran and the offensive line looks to finally be somewhat healthy finally.
