what game. romo is gonna have a hard time to sleep tonight.

I still feel that glenn never caught that ball. he put it on the ground. But oh well.

as for grammatica. he gave a love top because #27 was going in for the block and pretty much already ran him. but if grammatica wasn't busy hoping over some down lineman he might've put a better block on.

I also feel Dallas should've gone for it. it was 4th and inches. go for a qb sneak. worst case, get up to the line and try to draw the defense off sides.

This makes me very happy... as a die hard Eagles fan, I can't stand the Cowboys and seeing them eliminated from the playoffs makes me happy.

Mike Vanderjagt would have tackled the sh!t out of Babineaux, too bad he ain't playing.

He would have missed the previous field goals and that one anyway.

Being an Eagles fan, I have NO love for the Cowboys either, but I'd also like to state for the record that I have all the respect in the world for the Tuna as a coach. He's been a long time proven winner in this league.

ALSO, I just saw T.O. on the dais for the post game news conference, and, damn, HE handled himself like a true gentleman, which I must admit is hard for me to take in completely and believe.

I hear this and thought it was a pretty harsh and funny question.

yeah rich eisen on NFL network was like get the popcorn when TO got up to the podium but didn't say anything bad. The reporters though tried the best they could to get him to say something.

Which part? The part where he came out and stood at the podium for a minute without saying a word and then left, only to come back and answer questions?

That minor mistake costed them the game...

Yay Seahawks...
But Romo will never live it down.

Anyway, after watching the games today, especially this last one, I just want to say what gives me great hope for dem Iggles tomorrow is that Garcia is clearly operating at a much higher efficency than Hasselbeck or Romo or Trent Green was today, and maybe even in his own way, than Peyton, AND will probably majorly outplay Eli tomorrow.

Of course, if there's one thing to take away from this crazy Cowboys v. Seahawks game, it's that NOTHING is a given, especially perhaps this year.

GO EAGLES !

Go Eagles baby... Just let Eli try and win the game for the Giants... That's ALL the Eagles have to do.

Dallas had no business in the playoffs anyway.

Same goes for KC
Geez, same goes for the Seahawks and the Giants and maybe even the Eagles, you know? As gutsy and as clutch as the Eagles played down the stretch, it was as much a case of the Giants and the Cowboys losing the division as it was of the Eagles winning it, and, hey, I'm a diehard Eagles fan!

So, after all your "DALLAS WINS! posts, how does the humble pie and crow taste???

This game was more of a comedy of errors than a real football game. Obviously, I'm glad to see Seattle put another one in the win column, but this was more that Dallas just lost the game, than it was Seattle won the game...
Neither team played worth a sh!t, and had either one had a decent opponent, they'd have lost.

Seahawks had opportunities to put the game away, so did the Cowboys. Cowboys got lucky with a couple of Hasselbeck picks, a kickoff return for a TD, and the Seahawks failing to convert on 4th and goal at the 1, AND Romo fumbling and somehow recovering.

Seahawks got lucky with Romo mishandling the snap and the fumble for a safety.

After all the breaks for BOTH teams, I think the team that played better throughout the entire game (in terms of controlling the line of scrimmage, making first downs, etc) won.

All I can say is what a game and wow what a tough break for the Cowboys.

Wrong.

Do you know why they call it a "GAME WINNING FIELD GOAL"?????

BUY A FREAKING CLUE.

He had the GAME LOSING FUMBLE. Period.

Run along now fanboy.

EDIT: Same goes with teams who lose a game "wide left" or "Wide right". If you have a chance to win/lose a game on a single down, it's just that - a WIN OR LOSE situation. Romo botched the snap and the kicker never had a chance. He ultimately lost the game.

No, Waggy is right. How about the fact that the Seahawks didn't convert on the GAME WINNING TOUCHDOWN on the previous drive? How about the fact that there was still well over a minute and plenty of time for Seattle to drive and kick a GAME WINNING field goal (ahem, that they've done 4 times this year)?
