He didn't really like it for some reason.

Just remembered another coworker chick who trails off every other sentence with "So...."

I saw an SNL skit about that habit - it hit home.

i'm going to go out on a limb here and dis my son ... but he's picked up this annoying habit of saying "go figure" all the time. problem is, he uses it incorrectly 99% of the time:

me: what time is it?
him: go figure

me: where's your brother?
him: go figure

me: what did you do today?
him: go figure

also, he says it in this world-weary way - and he's 10! i've tried to explain that he's got it all wrong, but he's having none of it. oh, well, he's a great kid anyway.

I have a co-worker who ends every sentance with " - OK?"

Not sure why he is asking if we understand, or is just using "OK?" as a point of emphasis.

I also used to have a boss that would use "continue on" all the time. He would also use "irregardless" which just annoys the hell out of me .

OMFG. I f*cking, so purely hate that expression. Before my job last year (same place this year), I had never heard that expression before. Then when I get there, everyone and their mother is "I'll touch base with you in the morning", "we'll touch base later" to which I reply, go and touch yourself! I want to scream when I hear it nowadays.
