CPU AND MEMORY OVERCLOCKING

I am writing you guys for your suggestions for overclocking. THis is my computer setting

Soyo KT400 Dragon Lite Motherboard
Athlon XP 3000+
1280 MB PC2700 (1 Kingston 512, 1 Generic 512 and 1 Generic 256)
PNY Geforce 5200 128 MB Video Card
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Sound Card
500 Watt PSU
Stock AMD CPU Cooler

From CPU-Z I have the following with my CPU and Memory

CPU Memory
Voltage 1.536 Freq 166.6 MHZ
Core Speed 2166.4 FSBRAM 1:1
Multiplier X13 2.5 - 3 - 3 - 7
FSB 166.6

I would lower the cpu multi, give the memory the maximum available vdimm and start raising the FSB to see how high the memory can go. While raising the FSB I would boot into memtest86 instead of windows to avoid corruption. You can run just test #5 a couple times and if it passes then its safe to go into windows.
After finding the max FSB and testing with prime95, I'd raise the multi to find the max cpu overclock and test again with prime95.
I'd then start craving more MHz and go get a good thermalright slk-x heatsink so that I could raise the vcore without overheating.

How do you know or set the max vdimm. As Far as raising the FSB I can go from 166 to 200. If I boot with 13X 200 FSB the computer will not reboot so I have to reset the CMOS battery, then boot into the system. What would you raise the vcore up to right now it is at 1.536 and my cpu is 54C/134F. I have a psu with 2 fans in it, I have two case fans, one for bring in and for for take out of hot air.

Your mix and match PC2700 might not let you get far even with a high vdimm. Your vdimm adjustments should be in the bios if supported at all.
