I got a new Motherboard and Processor (Ryzen 2700x). I have two coolers but I'm not sure which one to install. One is a Corsair H75 and the other Thermalright Macho X2. I would like to install the better performing and quieter cooler. The Thermalright was given to me by a friend.

Free is always better, but you need to look after Macho's RAM clearance.

edit: can mods (@Markfw and others) move this thread to case and cooling section? Thank you.

In my last build I had the H75. At times it was extremely noisy! That was with a custom fan curve. I use my computer for as a home recording studio & gaming. Noise is definitely a factor. I believe the Macho x2 is comparable to Noctua D14 in terms of performance. Thank you for the help!!

I got the Macho X2 setup for Push/Pull. Heres the catch i got no room for exhaust fan. Should I remove the pull (back of side of cpu cooler) to have an exhaust fan or leave it in push/pull??

Macho will make less noise because of less parts that are moving.
The Macho will also be more reliable then the H75 because again, the only moving part is the fan.

The H75 will probably only be recommended if you cant fit the macho inside your case because of height clearance, as thermalright heat sinks were very tall.

Leave it in Push/Pull. Nibble out the case exhaust fan grille. That would be the optimum for CPU cooling.

If there's a hot GPU in the system that blows hot air around the case, it gets a little more complicated - and case exhaust fan might be needed. Would still remove the case exhaust fan grille. And remove any extra PCI slot covers.

You didn't state how the case intake fans are setup. Getting good clean front-to-back airflow is key for CPU air coolers.

When in doubt, the best thing is to test both configs. More work, sure, but at least you will know for sure what works in your use case.

Ive got 2 140mm intake fan on the front. 2 120mm exhaust fans. 1 on back 1 on the top. Followed the advice in this thread. I ended up pulling the Macho out. The fans mounts are terrible on this cooler. Not very secure. Very flawed design if you ask me. Rubber mounts probably would have helped. Which weren't in the kit. I ultimately ended up putting the H75 in my sons computer. He doesn't OC much. I went ahead and got a Noctua cooler with a gift card I had laying around. I always thought there was a lot hype with Noctua... Boy was I wrong! Not only is my system practically dead silent but it cools like champ. My temps dropped about 7-8 degrees across the board(ambient 68f). I dont have unusual like I was having with Macho. Having a silent rig is key. I'm a musicians I use my pc for home recording along with gaming. Noctua really makes a great quality product.

Noctua has the best mounting format out there, and they really do make a quality product. You do pay extra for it no doubt (compared to most air coolers), but it's worth it to me as well.
