I have a cpu frequency problem...please help.
I have a Giga bite motherboard. 8IHXP Intell 850e chipset. Rev. 2.
Intel 2.5 mhz processor (533 bus speed)
Mother will not allow me to change the frequency. Settings are for the processor are as follows:
19 x 133.33 mhz (locked) not overclocked.
This morning the computer gave a warning. Cpu frequency invalid. Then I was automatically taken to the bios setup. Is the cpu dying or is it the motherboard? The cpu runs at normal speed or above normal load. It also runs at 52C. Any help is appreciated.
