Today I tried to remove my stock intel heatsink and fan from my cpu but the last pin wont come loose. I turned it but when ur suppose to pull it up... it just wont come out and its only one of the pins. Should I just pull harder because if I do I think I'll snap something from the mobo or the pin.

Put everything back and turn on your computer for ten minutes or so. This will warm up the goop in between the heatsink and the processor, making the goop softer. Turn off your computer and take off the heatsink.

I think what he means is that the clip itself is still holding it on, but warming it up a bit is still a good idea so you don't pull the CPU out of the socket
You did use the tab things to allow you to remove it, right?

Your right I am talking about the clips which hold the heatsink to the board. Its just that the last one doesnt want to release itself. I can turn the clip but not pull it so it disconnects from the motherboard.

You have to push it down and then out (away from the processor) before pulling up.

I had the same problem with my K6, and I ended up having to pull the heatsink (processor included) right out of the socket, because I couldn't see anyway of releasing it with the heatsink in the way. After cleaning the heatsink and fan however, I re-inserted the processor and heatsink with no problems.

Success! It came out BUT now I have a different problem. I removed the thermal paste from both the CPU and heatsink just to see the temp difference and my CPU temperatures are 20C higher! Is it suppose to make such a big difference or did I place the heatsink on wrong? I dont think its on wrong because twice when I did put it on wrong the computer auto shutoff in less than 10 sec.
BTW my old temp was idle at 39C and now their at 58C.

Lap the heat sink and you should see a more consistent temp. Go down to about 2000 sandpaper. Make sure you wet down the sandpaper and use a small amount of soap for lubrication.

The thermal paste will fill out the gaps on the heatsink. This will result in better heat transfer away from the CPU.

You shouldn't ever run a computer without thermal paste. Its what creates the seal between the heatspreader and the heatsink. I'm suprised your temps were only 20C higher.

The heatsink seems to be very smooth without any machine marks but Ill pick up some Arctic Silver 5 first thing tomorrow along with a Zalman 7700 Cu.

I'd advise not doing anything remotely taxing with your system the way it is until you get some thermal paste in there. You are never supposed to run a system without thermal interface between the processor and the heatsink.
