CPU raised 10 degrees C

I just added an Asus extreme 6800gt to sli, and a dell 2405 fpw. Gaming was absolutely incredible @ 1900x1200 btw. Before the SLI setup, the case temp probe on the cpu was around 51 degrees @ load. Now with 2 cards it jumped to 61-65@load, is this normal? I have a titanium case with 2 90mm side fans blowing on the cards. However, ntune CPU temp monitor was (case was 61) 47, and BIOS said the CPU temp was the same as Ntune, could the case be that far off, the probe is taped to the heatsink (AMD standard sink and fan.

ok...re-read what you just asked only ask yourself in a different way....

substitute the word HEAT for any words that have to do with video cards...

YES its normal......you need to add more airflow throughout your computer to get your temps to come down or......if possible you need to add aftermarket heatsinks that direct the air out of your case.....

I see you have 2 fans blowing on the cards, but what do you have in terms of exhaust from the case? And you probably would see a rise, but 10 degrees may be attributable to the lack of exhaust from your case.

By the way. Heat was a great movie....lol...
seriously, i got your message, and never thought that i was gonna add "more heat", your so right. Now i need to figure out how to add a larger exhaust fan say from 80mm to 120?

You could do a case mod on your case, cut a bigger hole for the exhaust.

i could, but not the drilling cutting kinda guy. however, should i go with the bios and ntune temp readings, if that is the case, then i'm fine
