I7-9700K processor
I've run Core Temp for years...maybe decades. I always thought it was the most accurate means of keeping track of CPU temps.
Recently, I added RiveTuner and HWInfo so I could monitor CPU and GPU temps during gaming.
I'm seeing anywhere from 15C to as much as 30C difference between the reported temps by the two programs. (Core Temp reporting higher)
Any idea what is going on...or why there's such a difference in reported temps? A couple of degrees, I could accept as "normal." Maybe one is measuring overall core temp and one is measuring one single (highest temp) core?
