What does the week code mean when it comes to CPUs? Me and a buddy of mine have some A64 3000 CPUs, and his week code is 0416, and mine is 0446, do they have any kind of meaning? Is one better than the other? Just curious.

The code indicates when the chip was manufactured. The first is (20)04, week 14 (mid-April), second is (20)04, week 46 (mid-November). Everything else being equal, 'newer' chips tend to be slightly better overclockers -- although sometimes certain batches are noticeably better or worse than average.
This topic can transcend into this forum...dont worry about it!!!
generally it appears they are about 4-6 weeks off from when you start seeing them in the users hands....I just saw my first week 50 and we are in the 3 weeks into January....I'd expect by mid feb. we may start seeing 0501 chips!!!
overclocking always!!! depends on the single CPU u get, some go better some go worse to overclock. though later CPU`s and certain steppings tend to offer more potetntial but still its the single CPU that make the result and not the date of production.
