3.6Ghz 4670k because it won't overclock for crap. I need to buy more chips until I get one that OCs well, but money.

Daily 4.6GHz - It's still only turbo'ing up to 4.2GHz for the single threaded portion of this bench, don't know what that's about.

A 55 watt laptop CPU vs a 95 watt Skylake desktop CPU? STILL holding it's own = WORTH IT for 3+ yrs & counting!

A $1K laptop CPU is never worth it.

Unless you are the government.

AMD 1100T 3.2Ghz, 2.6Ghz HTL, DDR2 1066 Memory.

743 ST No Turbo.
3506 MT

Thubans Turbo mode is shady at best, If it detects activity on any other cores it wont go turbo, CPUz will not let me change the affinity to one core, But if I set the affinity to a single core for WinRAR bench I can get it to hold 3.7Ghz more consistanly.
But this is also on a AM2+ MB if it make any difference.

AM2+ gives you DDR2 which isn't much of a benefit anymore. DDR2-1066 was actually pretty good compared to . . . DDR3-1333 CL9+, but you can run DDR3-1600 CL7 pretty easily (or CL6 with some effort) making the DDR2 option look pretty bad in comparison.

Regardless, Stars chips seem to struggle with this benchmark.

3.06 Northwood in an old Dell.

Single 155
Multi 100

do you have HT active?

because I tried on a Pentium II 400 (single core) and it got 0 for MT (33 for ST), but when I used "stress" it gets around 30 something for MT while it's running, so I think it's a bug with single core CPUs, but if yours had HT it might explain it getting a score, or it's something else.

Yes, HT is active.

It could be the fact that it is 32 bit. 32bit CPU-Z bench seems to run slow.

Or it could be the fact that the early versions of HT sometimes hindered rather than helped.

And the Northwood 3.06 is Intel's first HT desktop CPU.

Might be kind of a timeout with not finishing a single loop during MT.
