NOOB!
Anyway, system buses are set up kind of oddly these days - AMD is using a DDR (double data rate) on their CPUs, and Intel is "Quad-Pumping".
Essentially, this means that a 200MHz FSB on an AMD processor runs at an effective 400MHz, and a 200MHz FSB on an Intel processor runs at an effective 800MHz.
Don't let those numbers fool you though - there's a lot more to processor than speed - AMD is outperforming Intel in the majority of applications these days. I won't go into the whys and hows of pipeline stages and IPC, but the bottom line is that AMD is the better processor unless you're encoding media or doing 3d rendering.
