The AIW 9600 pro is sold for that price almost everywhere according to price grabber. Maybe just a price drop?

Good price on the A7n8x deluxe though. I think it was $118 when I was looking last weeks so a few bucks cheaper.

Aspire (Turbo Case )X-Dreamer Black ATX Mid-Tower Case w/Window and 350W Power Supply, Model ATXB3KLW-BK/350W for $50 shipped. Not a screaming deal, but it looks like you save the normal $15 shipping...

If you want quiet get a Maxtor DiamondMax 9 (nothing lower, those are loud) or any Seagate. They still emit a slight whine but it's nothing compared to Western Digital and in a case is virtually unnoticeable.

the 25 dollar case that they had on there, was amazingly good and overall just nice, i was expecting far less quality than what I got, it looks fairly decent as well, although i'll certainly not be replacing my chieftec dragon case with it, but i'll get some extra parts together and have yet another computer.

It is? Seems the opposite to me... my Maxtor DiamondMax 9 is quite loud while my Western Digital 1200JBs are silent.

Those WD SE drives are nice but LOUD AS HELL! I've got a 120gb SE in this machine and it puts out a constant high pitched whine. Not that bad but still annoying considering its louder than anything in my system.

Anyway that motorola surfboard 5100 doesn't look bad, I needed to get out of this modem rental from the cable company anyway.

Same thing here....80GB Maxtor overpowers fans and everything else, my WD1200JB is almost silent.
