crack between house and sidewalk

Any suggestions for how to fill in this gap between my house and sidewalk? Its almost along the whole house.

There is some kind of plastic thing that was glued down before, but it has now separated also.

Please contact the QUIKRETE® Technical Center at 1-800-282-5828 to discuss the specifics of the cracks in your foundation. QUIKRETE® Vinyl Concrete Patcher could be used to repair cracks in an unsealed / unpainted, properly cleaned exterior foundation, but it is not a waterproofer. It is also not intended to be used as a coating, or over a large area (must be less than 2 square feet in area). When repairing cracks in concrete, we always recommend trialing a small quantity in a discrete area, and allowing it to cure for a minimum of 24 hours to determine whether the color and overall appearance is acceptable before using the material in less discrete areas. There are several options or combinations of materials which could be used, depending upon your particular circumstances.

OP might need to power wash first.
