After going through RMA hassles at ....and....and xxx, I will not go through that again. Newegg has my business for consistently backing their products, especially this Soyo rebate fiasco. For a few dollars I can live with the knowledge they back their reputation with one of the best product guarantees in the business.

If you knock Newegg then you do not know what your talking about IMHO. For those new to AT - buy from them. Save a few dollars on your HSF, fans and cables at other stores I can agree on. For all else, well I said it several times.

They own another site www.chiefvalue.com , EXACTLY the same product stock, hair cheaper on everything

Whats the deal with that? Does that make any sense what so ever? Its like there thinking.... lets keep our prices high because we have such a huge customer base, and for those who dont like us lets open a new site and charge a tad better price. We have a loyal customer base at newegg that will only buy from us, we can stick it to them!

Just my guess. Im not trying 2 be a jerk about newegg, heck I think there great in a way, nice selection, decent everyday prices (crap for any real earth shattering "IVE GOT 2 HAVE THAT!" type specials) and decents customer service. Though im to damn cheap to shop there anymore.

another thing i've noticed is that newegg is starting to accept returns for replacements on less and less items. You're more than welcome to return it b/c you don't want it.... having to pay a restocking fee of course.

Another thing that miffs me is that I've probably placed over $10k in orders w/ them and not once have they ever combined shipping on their products... soo I've gotten into the habbit lately of when I order 4 $2.50 fans w/ 3 dollar shipping.... I place 4 separate orders.

Kinda sad that you never really had to look anywere else for the cheapest/best service around but those times are long past
