I own seven tools [trim-saw, jig-saw, drill/driver, recip' saw ("saws-all"), florescent light, hand-vac, hammer/drill] in this 19.2V series, and really like them. I can't compare these to other brands, nor can I speak to how they'd function under commercial (daily/heavy) use, but for an occasionally serious weekend-warrior, they've held up very well and have done everything I've expected and more, whether re-decking a porch, tearing down an old metal shed, building a shed, sheet-rocking, etc. With three fully charged batteries, you can do a lot of damage before you've run out of power, and the charger restores them quickly.

Sears packages these 19.2V tools in different combinations; I think each combo' is on sale at some point over the year. I'm unsure this is the package I'd first buy only because I have little faith in the orbital sander -- in -any- orbital sander for that matter, as even corded ones take forever to do not-much.

Note: these tools aren't light, individually and collectively. My first package (the first five I listed) came in a large "suitcase" which was heavy and bulky; a yet-larger collection comes in a rolling trunk (like a wheeled ice-chest). Neither is fun to tote about, carry up from the basement, or put into a car. Further, to some extent these are "toys for real men" -- meaning that not many women would care to hold these tools in awkward positions for very long (say, sheet-rocking a ceiling) as the powerful battery-packs make these tools a bit heavy.

Sears keeps adding new tools to the line-up; these aren't necessarily cheap, but they can be interesting: if the project arises, I'll consider that 90-degree drill [say. for working in cabinets or in confined joist or stud situations]; and I keep looking for an excuse to own a spiral saw.

Anyway, that's my experience with the line-up. Take care out there!

I can vouch for the drill, after two years of heavy duty use and abuse and multiple beatings/tossings off roofs the dang thing just keeps going. Ive seen others with the "yellow 19v" type 40-50$ drills, but they all seam to die much faster and just dont seem to work as good. Like theyll bog down when drilling through thick material and/or hang up on burs in the back. Weve actually got two of those yellers here, one is only a 3/8 and thats a pain in the arse! 1/2" FTW! Corse I spent twice as much for this one...so I guess its sorta a tossup. Anywho, in this bundle its a much better buy...

Oh and yeah as the other guy mentioned, that dang battery can get heavy!

I also have the drill and it has been a great tool. I have had it for about 4 years and it works as well now as it did when I bought it. It is heavy but it has ample torque and has handled almost everything I throw at it. I also have the light, the circular saw and the the sawsall. The only complaint I have is that the batteries are crap. I am on my second set of batteries and likely going to need a third soon. They haven't held up very well and do not last as long as some other tools I have used. Other than the battery issues I love the tools. On sale this is a great bargain.

P.S. Reading the reviews on Sears.com also point out battery woes. That said even if you have to buy batteries every 2 years the price is still lower than many of the other brands. Tools great, batteries not so good.

Just add it to your cart and it should be automatic.

Used the drill last night to drill some holes in my case for some water cooling tubing. worked great.

I alsi picked this up by ordering online and picking it up in the store, charged the batteries and went to town starting my basement tech work bench. So, far used the saw, jigsaw, drill, and the vacuum (ok fine my wife did). Oh, BTW I have the heavy duty 19.2v Hammer drill from a previous purchase so now I have 7pcs, 4 batteries, and 2 charges. I'm in weekend warrior heaven now...=)

Original $268
Rebates $147
Out the door $155.88
