I have the 1000 watt version. Its a very bright light, and comes in very handy in dim/dark areas. I find the stand to be a bit flimsy for my tastes, but does just fine when you aren't moving it. I think its a great light for $20.

i use them for picks, but depends on the temperature you are looking to get, i still just get a white sample and use them because they provide plenty of light

also consider that if u do get them for photo you might need a difuser..

I have been waiting for a deal on some good worklights. I was trying to decide which one to get, the 500 watt for 9.99 or the 1000 watt for 19.99, but then it hit me. Why don't I buy 2 500 watt lights and that way I can use them together or seperately and be able to shine them from different angles (plus i get 2 tripods for the price of one).

F7ckers! :| I didn't realize that. I paid 10 bucks to have something shipped 5 minutes from my house with the understanding that I'd get a rebate. Ghey. So basically I paid full price. Double ghey. Oh well, at least I have a work light now.

I went to the store to pick up the dual-head unit today and had a hassle. The part number online is 3473825 and the one on shelf was 3473828. They said it wasn't the same unit, even thought the spec and descriptions were the same. After 15 mins they finally gave it to me at the $19 price.
