hi. i need to fill out the rebate form for the "cram and jam" deal that's going on right now. my school provided me with a handy rebate card to fill out and mail in. on the pamphlet it says the rebate amount is $200.
so i was filling out the rebate with all the information and serial numbers etc when i messed up. went online, for some reason, didn't go directly to apple.com to print out another rebate coupon but googled "cram and jam rebate coupon" to print another copy of the rebate coupon
i clicked on something that looked like the link to the rebate coupon and it led me to a legitimate looking rebate coupon to print out. i printed it out. it listed the rebate amount to be $275!
then i went to the apple.com and searched in their search bar and the rebate coupon said $350!
then i went to the apple.com store under my college's name and the rebate coupon was back to $200.
i looked at all the addresses where you have to mail the info to to get the rebate, the addresses are all, i think, p.o. box numbers, and the city and states are all different.
questions:
why are there are different rebate amounts for the same cram and jam deal (or is it a different deal) ?
why are there numerous addresses where you can get your rebate from?
what is the legitimate correct amount of the rebate for the cram and jam deal?
am i overreacting?
