crap i just broke my g/f's watch

ok update, i just got back from the mall, they can repair it but it wont be done until monday. and i would never lie to my g/f about anything, i just know it was her nicest watch.
like i said she doesnt come from a wealthy family and to her this watch is nice.

maybe the watch i picked out is ugly to some of you but im not a watch expert nor a ladies jewelry expert. but it doesnt matter really and i doubt she will care how it looks.
like after years of being married is it really the look of the ring that matters?

i would rather surprise her with a ugly watch that i thought she might like then for her to never get suprises.

or are you going to try that again when you get it back....

yes they are gonna put the back on and the battery has been replaced.

she liked a watch they had there that had a light blue face but it was pretty ugly also.

so im pretty sure she might like this one.

Well, I don't necessarily agree with your choice in watch, but you are to be commended for wanting to give your gf a nice surprise! I hope you two have many happy years together.

tommorrow its supposed to come so im gonna have my camera set up to capture her reaction on video so everyone can tell by her facial expression if she likes or dislikes it.
i just got to find a way to film it without her knowing it.
i will tell her afterwords of my filming it because im not gonna have anything going on she doesnt know about. but it will be her real reaction to it.

My girlfriend's two guess watches have been about 125 each. Both have Swarovski crystal, and one has pearls. That doesn't look quite as nice, so probably 75-100 bucks.
