You mean like the cheesy fade-in when you move your mouse? Also, the stubbornness to limit the text on the page to 28 characters is right up there with Steve Jobs' obsession with the one-button mouse.

Lack of design is *not* good design.

lol, it is (primarily) a search engine. When someone uses google, they have one thing in mind. Why clutter it with shit that will get ignored anyway?

I like the design. Unless you enjoy horseshit like this.

I once knew this Apple rep that had an Apple tattoo on her lower leg. Crazy bitch is crazy.

Also, Apple software is some of the bug-ridden, most bloated I've ever used. They need better software designers. Also, trying to right-click on a Powerbook is akin to doing unnatural things with your fingers.

Lots of People have Jesus , er I mean, Jobs tattoos.

Well it looks like we've stumbled onto an interesting little fact - Apple sycophants seem to be strongly opposed to the Google search UI. What more can we say?

I dont know what all of you google-dissers are saying. Their UI's are some of the most intuitive stuff that I have used. Its clean, efficient, runs quick and takes little to no resources to run effectively.

Try saying the same about iTunes that makes my E8400 OCed to 4.0 ghz crawl/crash repeatedly.

The same can be said for DOS or Windows 3.1.

Wait, you're comparing a search engine to a program you install? Awesome! If iTunes makes your pc go slow and crash that often you need to get your computer fixed. Not saying iTunes is a shining example of uber programming. But it's never once crashed on my PC and doesn't make my PC, which is much much slower than yours move at a crawl.

Googles back end is what is great, their UI is something a 13 year old could come up with. UI wise ask.com is much better.

One month old install of Win7 with barely anything else installed? k. The only reason I HAVE to use it is my shuffle for the gym, I vastly prefer my ZuneHD for music listening.

Im saying things are relative, I can't stand macOS at all, I vastly prefer windows organization/UI to anything apple can put out. But to fault google for having a plain page is stupid. Its a search company, theres only one thing you want when you come to the page. The search bar, even bing.com seems cluttered in comparison.

I've been using iTunes for years and it's never crashed. It may take a few seconds to open, but it doesn't make a difference to my pc's performance when it's running.

Also, the new sidebar on Google is horrible. I'm running an add-on right now that gets rid of it.

If it doesn't crash its idling at like 25% processor usage and like 300 MB RAM usage, ridiculous.

Dock >>>>> Taskbar. I spent money for ObjectDock on Windows to mimic what OSX has. And a huge plus for Dock is I can have any program on my dock auto open when I boot my system up with 2 clicks. Same thing to stop a program from auto loading on boot. With Windows it's a PITA to accomplish this. Windows Taskbar is like a limiting version of Dock. If you can explain to me what's better about a Taskbar I'm all ears.

ill grant you that the dock is great but not it has nothing to do with being able to minimize progs to it, TBH thats one of the things i hate the most about using a mac, the dock is amazing shortcut bar (and is the only reason i paid for object dock) the taskbar is infinity superior for managing open programs especially with grouped bars + double height start menu + ultra mon.

and managing what starts when windows starts is pretty damn easy, most programs have an option for "start with windows" and those that don't you right click and drag into the start up folder which is basically 2 clicks

Um. You can group windows in an application in the OS X out of the box.

You've always seemed like an apple person to me... Hmm maybe I'm just confusing you with Inspector Jihad.

I hate macOS with a passion, you are mistaken. I don't own a single apple product other than my shuffle, and i'm contemplating replacing it when a SansaClip

The only program I've had any technical issues with in the last few years is Itunes. Such a piece of shit.

It's part of the Apple sheep mentality. They didn't know they hated Google until about 12 hours ago.
